Three months, since Drupal 5 has been released to the world, I decided that it's time to upgrade to this version. The only thing I've been waiting for, actually, was the acidfree.module to be updated to the new version. Acidfree is a full-featured media management system for drupal. This makes it so you can easily manage your photos and videos with drupal. This new version of Acidfree uses the Taxonomy, Image, Video, and Views modules to create an interface that is very similar to older versions of Acidfree. However, since it will be based on other node types, it fits in with the Drupal Way better and should give a better unified media management system to Drupal. There are also a lot usability improvements, a new Drupal core theme (I used backported version in my 4.7 installation already), a web-based installer, and expansion of the Drupal development framework that will afford themes and contributing developers even greater flexibility and power.

Tord Gustavsen Trio is releasing its third CD on ECM Records, called "Being There" spring 2007. Norway gets a pre-release April 10th. The rest of Europe will follow in April or early May, and the US release is set to June 5th. "This is music that sings, at once gentle and robust. Lyrical, immediately memorable songs, songs of an appealing freshness, yet sophisticated in their involvement with the melodic line. In the four years that have elapsed since the recording of a debut album that proved both a popular and a critical success (cf. The Critics), the Tord Gustavsen Trio has toured extensively, crystallizing the musical approach and developing new compositions. The second album "The Ground" was released in 2005. Now, in 2007 the trio is in for the completion of a unique trilogy with a release named "Being There". The trio's approach is developed further on this record. It's still very melodic and romantic music. It still displays a striking, spacious 'Nordic-Caribbean-gospel-bluesy' fresh feel while presenting Tord Gustavsen's original compositions. But the trio employs more dynamics and explores some new musical fields in its interaction on this recording. The musicians are just as un-compromising in their search for beauty as they are in their search for a creative approach with fresh phrasing and imaginative playing."

• Since middle of December, Zhizho is on solid food. He started with potatoes, then squash, carrots, pumpkins, rice, etc. He is almost 7.5 months now and weights a little bit more than 9.5 kg...
• I am still as a rock regarding smoking.
• My wish list became smaller (although it is still big) thanks to my lovely wife and her sister. I received a ("Wilson") tennis-racquet and a great office chair (which I am going to use at home) for my Birthday...
• Zhizho is teething. He got his first tooth around 7th of January. Two more are on their way now.
• One of the latest Zhizho's earns is shown here. It's pretty safe place to play and I can tell he- likes it very much...

Actually, it is "No, you're never too old to Rock'n'Roll, if you're too young to die" at the end of the song. And I guess this is exactly how I feel today, turning 40. It has been a difficult year, most probably the most difficult so far. There were ups and downs, tears and fears, adjustments and compromises. But also, a lot of smiles and happy moments, things you'll never forget. And of course, the biggest moment in my life: Zhiveslav was born- our gift from God, out little treasure and big joy. So, it's been a great year (as well as the other 39) and I am grateful for everything I have... and I should be happy...
